I'm going to admit it - I love this song. Hell, I love the whole album! This may be one of the best debut albums I've ever heard, and there isn't a song off it I don't enjoy. Released in 1978 by this new Boston based band, Moving In Stereo was not the breakthrough single for this album, that honor going to My Best Friends Girl and Just What I Needed, but what has always made this song stick out for me is it's seamless link into All Mixed Up, a great off the beat tune, and mainly it's role in the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High. If you want a great album you can listen to from beginning to end, this is a solid pick.

Moving In Stereo
life's the same I'm moving in stereo
life's the same except for my shoes
life's the same you're shakin' like tremolo
life's the same it's all inside you
it's so easy to blow up your problems
it's so easy to play up your breakdown
it's so easy to fly through a window
it's so easy to fool with the sound
it's so tough to get up
it's so tough
it's so tough to live up
it's so tough on you
life's the same I'm moving in stereo
life's the same except for my shoes
life's the same you're shakin' like tremolo
life's the same it's all inside you
life's the same I'm moving in stereo
life's the same except for my shoes
life's the same you're shakin' like tremolo
life's the same it's all inside you
