Ain't No Sunshine - Bill Withers

This song has just absolutely beautiful vocals and lyrics. A song to listen to when you've been left and you're down. You can feel his pain through his voice, and it's incredible feeling. I've felt this song, and am sure I will again. It is a short one, but that's all the time Bill needed to get his message across. This song was actually written while Bill worked in a factory making toilet seats for 747's, which makes you believe in anything. It has been covered by a huge variety of artists, and is in it'sown rights one of the best songs ever released.

Ain't No Sunshine

Ain't no sunshine when she's gone.
It's not warm when she's away.
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
and she's always gone too long
anytime she goes away.

Wonder this time where she's gone,
wonder if she's gone to stay
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
and this house just ain't no home
anytime she goes away.

And I know, I know, I know, I know, I know,
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know,
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know,
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know,
I know, I know, I know

Hey, I ought to leave the young thing alone,
but ain't no sunshine when she's gone,
ain't no sunshine when she's gone,
only darkness everyday.
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone,
and this house just ain't no home
anytime she goes away.
Anytime she goes away.
Anytime she goes away.
Anytime she goes away.
Anytime she goes away.
